Two of my deluxes show some discoloration on the bridge (very typical with the Flys). Is there any specific paint or primer that would be ideal to restore a bridge to its original matte black? Has anyone figured out how these bridges were painted and what sort of paint was used. I wouldn't like to throw in anything that will make it look weird or...'painted'. The discoloration is not a huge nuisance but if it's an easy fix, why not...

By the way, I don't know if you're aware of the sourcing for the concentric knobs. I checked the Anatomy of the Fly page and it says "source forthcoming". Here is what I found:

Thanks; if I recall, we found this a while ago, but there’s a minimum quantity required for purchase. Davies is the same company that sells the knobs we sourced on Mouser and DigiKey, which do fit, so these would probably also fit.

I contacted the company by email to see if they can make the original all black rubber knobs, which I figure is the same they have today without the added white or blue paint.

Nice! Let us know! When we contacted them, they said that all-black would require a custom order with a minimum qty.
