the Fly Clone Project

Hi guys!

Registered a while back but took a while to activate my account.

Love all the knowledge being shared here.

Held a friend’s Parker Fly (and a Nitefly) in 1999, and fell in love ever since, but never went for it.

Hopefully will land that elusive one that’s just right for me!

There really should be a warning when you sign up: if you look through the catalogs and various images on this site, you’ll eventually start searching for Flys on eBay and Reverb

That's a good thing. Every fly needs a good home.

It’s too late! I’m on Reverb and eBay everyday now haha

And wouldn't ya know it, like 3 nice ones landed today between ebay and reverb. Doh!

Between my wife and I (she plays guitar too) we have 4 flies. 3 Maxxflies and one PM10.

The worst thing about my custom shop DF is I no longer have GAS. I can look at other beautiful guitars and appreciate the looks, but I don't want to buy.

I think of guitar centers wall of guitars this way these days....and have for a number of years...

Beautiful to look at, nice to hold but when I played them only the Parker sold!
