Parker Fly battery

Post by FlyFan »

Hello fellow Fly Fans. I have noticed that the battery in my Fly goes dead quickly, even though I unplug the amp cable from the guitar jack when not playing. Since the battery compartment has two screws, it is not convenient to remove the battery when not playing. Any suggestions, is there a trick or button I am missing?

I would suspect that the jack switch which senses a plug inserted is defective. To check this, check continuity on the battery connector with and without an instrument cable connected. You might have to repair/replace the input jack.

By the way, if that doesn't solve it, then it means your amazing looking Butternut Limited edition fly is irremediably broken and you must send it to me for free!
