Since I haven’t posted here for awhile and I was surfing Reverb and came across this listing, I had to ask...Am I correct in thinking this is a poor mans Mojo? Cool piezo and trem option.
Seems like a fair price too.
If I didn’t have a Pro already it would be nice addition.

I found a tenor acoustic last week off Craigslist to try something different out.
It’s a fun format and easy to noodle around on but the chords are hard to remember. Speaking of nice additions......

Meaning a poor man's "Mojo Singlecut"? I'm not very familiar with these models, but this looks like the Mojo Singlecut without all of the composite material treatments. I seem to recall @jb63 saying a while back that these were pretty rocking and a bit lighter than the the Mojo Singlecut.

Yes! I've had a singlecut, a couple of PM24v models and briefly, a PM10.
The 24v is the best of them, although it IS heavy, its lighter than my old 1991 Les Paul was.
ALL of these are great guitars for the money, but if you like the carbon fibre then really, just spend the money:

they aren't that popular because (I think) they are either ugly or heavy. Haggle.

I emailed the store about the one you have posted here because I'd never seen one with what looks like a bubinga top.
It has the composite fretboard and I prefer the ebony one. I think the PM24 Pro had a 2nd run in indonesia or korea and they added all the special tops.
I generally don't like the frets. If you got a good one and paid to put in the frets you liked, that might be all the difference in the world.

This 22 fret model had the ebony board but did it have SS frets? I've never played one:

The thing about all these single cut models is they are sold as tanks, so if you can get one with the neck you like you could easily get a luthier to put in any kind of trem (except a parker!) and if you find an ebony board one, any kind of frets.

In my opinion, its all about the neck, but the PM24v has the unique-to-parkers Les Paul wiring! I forgot to mention that!

My ‘08 PM20 Pro has a 3x3 headstock and a phenolic neck (composite?) it plays every bit as well as the fly for speed and slinky feel.
It’s the only guitar I ever bought sight unseen from guitar center. A touch over 5.5 lbs, black as night and shiny as a hearse in the sun.

As prices go up, I sometimes consider selling the Pro that sits unplayed in its case most of the time....but no, it would be wrong, and only sadness and regret would remain.

Hello! New to the forum! This PM 24 Pro discussed in this thread was my old guitar. I missed it so I bought another one a few months ago. Does anyone have a link to a replacement nut, preferably a GraphTech ? I added pics of my new/current one!
