I think it isn't Bubinga but Mappa burl veneer... Comes from the Italian Black poplar. Only 100 is this colour worldwide and we both have one in Transparent Red. Found this chat..

Hi Everyone, New to this site. Jus pickup up an identical to the OP 2005 red Mappa burl (ltd) PM20 for 120 Euros over here in Germany as there was a crack in the headstock. Only 100 made worldwide in this colour! Careful gluing with Titebond and clamps and a spot of colour matching and it is back in...
